Corporate Communications

Join ICES on a newly awarded contract impacting national security as a member of the Corporate Communications team.  These positions are located in Springfield, VA. All positions require an active/current TS/SCI security clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.

Develop and implement internal and external communications.  Proactively identify and implement marketing strategies. Based on awareness and understanding of NGA mission and operations tempo, identify and reach out to potential users and user groups.  Analyze customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for message/information development, communication method selection, and timing of messages. Tailor messages by target audience. Research, write, edit, and publish communications products (e.g., print, web, electronic, briefings). Provide direction to graphic designers, briefing developers, photographers, illustrators and other required staff. Prepare material for publication and other media both internally and externally. Manage and monitor production schedules. Develop new communication methods to reach target audiences. Support NGA senior leaders by writing speeches, talking points, video scripts, briefings, and other communications products (e.g., emails, articles). Proficient with PC computer platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal and customer service skills.
 
Active/Current TS/SCI Security Clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph

Level I
Years of Experience: <3 Years
Experience with providing strategic communications support, speechwriting or technical writing/editing. Familiarity with defense and intelligence community issues. Experience with data gathering and analytical skills.
 
Level II
Years of Experience: 3-6 Years
Experience with providing strategic communications support, speechwriting or technical writing. Familiarity with defense and intelligence community issues. Experience with data gathering and analytical skills. Has basic knowledge of the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. 
 
Level III
Years of Experience: 7-10 Years
Experience with providing strategic communications support or speechwriting. Knowledge of issues facing the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of customer, functions, products and technologies. Must demonstrate strong data gathering and analytical skills. Plans and leads contract sub tasks/projects.
 
Level IV
Years of Experience: 11-14 Years
Experience Providing strategic communications support, speechwriting or technical writing. Knowledge of issues facing the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of functions, products and technologies. Must have strong data gathering and analytical skills. Experience with providing executive level support. Leads task team’s efforts.
 
Level V
Years of Experience: 15+ Years
Experience Providing strategic communications support, speechwriting or technical writing. Experience with providing executive level support. Knowledge of issues facing the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense. Knowledge of functions, products and technologies. Must have strong data gathering and analytical skills. Experience providing executive level support. Leads others in executing strategic communications tasks.
