Description: Join ICES on a contract impacting national security as a Systems Integration & Testing Engineer. This position is located in Chantilly, VA. This position requires an active/current TS/SCI securityclearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.
As a Systems Integration & Testing Engineer, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Duties:
Synthesize customer contractual needs, requirements, and technical, schedule and cost constraints into solutions for integrating, testing, evaluating, and transitioning systems into operations to deliver enterprise capabilities.
Plan and arrange the labor, schedules, and resources required for integrating, testing, evaluating and transitioning systems.
Establish standards, practices, and procedures for integrating, testing, evaluating and transitioning systems and enterprise capabilities, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Evaluate enterprise capabilities, architectures, system design concepts, requirements, risks and opportunities, and processes for integration, test, evaluation and transition impacts.
Design, develop, and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of systems in conjunction with system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities, and integrate system and enterprise elements together so they work as a whole.
Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability.
Ensure systems and enterprise capabilities comply with requirements and standards through formal verification methods.
Generate system requirement and enterprise capability verification approaches and customer acceptance criteria.
Participate in reviews of systems and elements under development to ensure traceability of requirements compliance through verification and validation.
Develop and direct preparation for and execution of comprehensive test & evaluation plans, procedures and schedules which verify and validate enterprise capabilities, system requirements, performance and operability.
Coordinate system integration, test, evaluation and transition activities with other organizations.
Conduct readiness for system integration, test, evaluation and transition activities.
Compile data and defines changes required in testing configurations, testing procedures, testing processes, or new testing requirements.
Implement testing processes and ensure all test activities follow those processes.
Produce reports on each test activity and track test metrics.
Perform analysis and evaluations of systems under test.
Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
Perform analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive system evaluation reports and risk assessments.
Evaluate discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes affecting systems and enterprise capabilities.
Provide direct, interfacing support to the customer for system integration, test, evaluation and transition activities.
Monitor for continual process improvement and lessons learned, and reports to management periodically.
Required Qualifications:
TS/ SCI Security Clearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.
Master’s Degree with at least 0 – 2 years of experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 – 4 years of experience; or a High School Diploma with 8 – 10 years of experience.
