Join ICES on a contract impacting national security as an IT Support Technician

These positions are located in Springfield, VA. All positions require an active/current TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.

As an IT Support Technician, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties:

Provide a highly responsive IT point of contact for all TAC test workstations and infrastructure.
Perform adaptive reconfiguration of test suites and test workstations.
Broad working knowledge of NGA IT policies, program responsibilities, and process for accomplishing needed IT tasks.
Develop and present effective technical presentations to senior management and to technical/non-technical audiences; must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.

Skills and Experience:
Required:

Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of experience in Management and specializing in managing resources, staffing, and costs supporting a Government contract.
Requires in depth coordination with the NGA IT service contract program office and IT services contractor team.
Experience scoping level-of-effort for tasks and providing accurate costs and resource estimates.
Capable of working individually, collaboratively, and report to a department head.
Contributes to complex aspects of projects and conduct root cause problem analysis to develop technical solutions.

Desired:

Mid-level experience in the field of IT Support or related fields with the skills to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
4+ years of experience in one or more disciplines of Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Business, or other related fields.
