These positions are located in Alexandria, VA.
As an Apple Systems Engineer, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Duties:
Responsible for managing and maintaining apple hardware and software.
Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability for macOS and iOS devices.
Handle system configurations, software updates, troubleshooting, and user support for Apple products.
Skills and Experience: Required:
Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification or equivalent.
Expertise in managing and troubleshooting macOS and iOS devices.
Proficiency in system administration for Apple environments, including device configuration and management.
Knowledge of how to best optimize security for Apple systems.
Understanding of network configurations and protocols related to Apple devices.
Experience with software deployment tools such as Jamf
Experience in scripting in programs such as Bash or AppleScript to automate tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Ability to provide support and training to end-users for Apple products.
Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation for Apple systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
Ability to manage Apple-related projects and coordinate with IT teams.
Desired:
Proficiency in Apple operating systems, including macOS and iOS.
Familiarity with Apple hardware, including Mac computers and mobile devices PCs (Macs), tablets (iPADs), notebooks and laptops.
Experience in managing Apple servers and services, such as macOS Server.
2+ years of experience administering and maintaining Apple software, hardware and in systems engineering or a related field, specifically with Apple products and technologies.
