Description: Join ICES on a contract impacting national security as an Program Manager.
A Program Manager is responsible for managing multiple related projects to achieve strategic business objectives. They coordinate project teams, manage resources, and ensure that projects are aligned with the organization's goals. The Program Manager oversees the progress of projects, manages risks, and communicates with stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery.
These positions are located in Alexandria, VA. All positions require an active/current TS/SCI securityclearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.
As a Program Manager, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Duties:
Responsible for overseeing the achievement of larger organizational goals.
Be the principal point of contact between COR/Alternate COR and senior management.
Attend the required weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings, responsible for presenting regular concise program status updates, and ensuring timely resolution of critical program issues.
Ability to oversee the achievement of larger organizational goals, lead program strategy, oversee implementation efforts, and delegate tasks efficiently.
Manage the responsibility of quality and efficiency of the contract to include both technical issues and business processes.
Be responsible for assisting in task assignments, ongoing supervision of technical efforts, and overall performance management of the program, must have a general understanding and knowledge of the Microsoft computing environment, must possess good oral and written communication skills.
Required:
Program Management Professional (PgMP)
IT Infrastructure Library Certification
Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Strong strategic planning skills to align program objectives with organizational goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management and reporting.
Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across multiple projects.
Strong budgeting and financial management skills to oversee program budgets and resources.
Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Skilled in negotiating with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and secure necessary resources.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage ambiguity.
Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
Desired:
Have a general understanding and knowledge of the Microsoft computing environment, possess good oral and written communication skills
5+ years of experience managing personnel and processes in an IT enterprise environment.
