Join ICES on a new contract impacting national security in Program Management Support. The position is located in Springfield, VA. Position requires an active/current TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.
In the Program Management Support role, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties:
- Oversee subordinate technical and administrative leads to ensure coordinated execution of tasks
- Conduct long-range planning across all aspects of program performance
- Manage responsibilities related to personnel security, financial oversight, and other delegated duties in support of the Lead Program Manager
- Report to a manager or head of a unit/department
- Work independently and within collaborative teams
- Contribute to moderately complex aspects of programs and projects
- Develop and apply advanced concepts, tools, and processes to support program goals
- Perform root cause analysis and develop technical solutions to identified problems
- Guide and mentor junior-level personnel in their roles and responsibilities
- Seek guidance when addressing new, undefined, or unstructured challenges
Required Qualifications:
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with willingness to undergo a polygraph.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 4–7 years in program/project management or government contract support. A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- Necessary skills to work independently within skill level
- Experience with the following:
- Scoping level-of-effort for tasks, and providing accurate cost and resource estimates
- Managing resources, staffing, and costs supporting a Government contract
- Developing and delivering contract deliverables
- Familiarity with organizational security solutions
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in related technical or scientific fields such as Systems Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related STEM degree
- Demonstrated experience with the IC and Federal Agencies
